The year ahead
The Dragon has no direct Tai Sui tie in 2027, so your story is told by the Five Elements. The Dragon is Earth, and Fire produces Earth, so the year's Fire acts as your resource star in BaZi: learning, mentors, qualifications, property and the people who back you. After a fast 2026, the Fire Goat year is quieter for the Dragon, and that is useful. It is a year to deepen rather than expand. Study the thing you have been circling. Get the licence. Fix the foundations of a business before you scale it. Dragons who build in 2027 will feel it in 2028, a Monkey year that combines with them.
Career and money
Courses, certifications and senior sponsors are favoured. A boss or client may back you openly. It is a good year to make things formal: contracts, licences, registrations, property paperwork. Avoid restless job-hopping out of boredom. In 2027 the pay-off comes from depth, not volume.
Love and relationships
Resource years bring care. You may feel more looked after, or find yourself drawn to someone steady and kind. Let it happen without testing it. Couples do well with shared projects at home. Singles meet people through classes, family or community.
Health and energy
Fire and Earth together can feel heavy. Watch digestion, weight and slow mornings. Regular movement and lighter evening meals help. Book the check-up you have been postponing early in the year, while your schedule is still open.
What to watch
Watch for complacency and pride. Support can turn into dependence if you let others do the work. Be careful with property and paperwork details. The Dog month (8 October to 6 November) clashes with the Dragon, so avoid big moves and arguments with authority then.
Best months
These months combine with the Dragon. Use them for exams, applications and contracts.
- 8 Aug to 7 SepMonkey month (申)
- 8 Sep to 7 OctRooster month (酉)
- 7 Dec 2027 to 5 Jan 2028Rat month (子)
Go gently in the Dog month, 8 Oct to 6 Nov, which clashes with the Dragon. Months follow the solar calendar BaZi uses, so they start a few days into each Western month.
Lucky colours, numbers and direction
- Colours
- Yellow and brown, then red and purple
- Numbers
- 5 and 10, then 2 and 7
- Direction
- East-southeast
These follow the traditional associations. The colours and numbers belong to the Dragon's element, Earth (土), and to Fire (火), the element that feeds it; the numbers come from the He Tu (河图). The direction is the Dragon's own seat on the compass. The element your chart actually needs can differ, and that is what a personal reading works out.
Your animal is one of eight characters
A zodiac forecast reads your birth year alone. Your BaZi chart has four pillars, eight characters in all, and your day master, the element of the day you were born, usually says more about how 2027 treats you. Oracate builds your chart from your birth date and time and reads each day from it.

Questions
Does the Dragon offend Tai Sui in 2027?
No. The Dragon (辰) has no clash, punishment, harm or combination with the Goat (未). The main influence is elemental: the year's Fire produces the Dragon's Earth, which BaZi reads as support and learning.
Is 2027 a good year for a Dragon to buy property?
Fire and Earth years favour property and documents, so it can be a good year to start looking. Your finances and your full chart matter more than your animal. Avoid signing in the Dog month, which clashes with the Dragon.
